Beer Travel

Vine Park’s mission to have fun with beer & wine goes global! Each year we host a trip to a great Beer Destination that our customers are invited to join. Past trips include South Africa, Bavaria and the Czech Republic.

October 2009 – We are off to Belgium!
Dan & Deb are going with BeerTrips.com and we invite you to jump on board with us. We postponed the Ireland trip until next year due to the economy yet with the dollar strengthening it is a great time to travel if you can. This trip already has enough adventurers to ensure that it will go but there are a few spots left. This will be an amazing vacation with fun beer loving fellow travelers. Grab the opportunity! For more detailed trip information and to sign up, please go to http://beertrips.com/trips/belgium.htm. Or contact Dan at the brewery.

July 2010 – Pub Culture of Ireland
We will go to the Emerald Isle and seek our fun & adventure among some of the friendliest people on earth. This trip has proven very popular as we’ve researched Ireland and talked with the customers of Vine Park.

This trip will be a first, so we have created an itinerary customized by the requests of those who committed to going. We fly into Shannon airport and spend next four days exploring the western coast; the City of Galway, the heart of Irish pub music in Doolin, some castles & amazing scenery and then we go east. We’ll spend three days in the Kilkenny area enjoying a broad sampling of the 80(!) pubs there. Here we provide a free day so the traveler can rest or explore a personal quest; whether its fishing, golf, horse/bike riding, shopping, or planting a kiss upon the Blarney Stone.

Then it’s off to Dublin for three nights with a wandering route that will give us a tour of Waterford, a local festival, and historic pubs. We’ll then explore the city of Dublin with a walking tour, a visit to Guinness, and more pubs! Along the way, we will experience history, Irish culture & food, pubs, castles, festivals, pubs, and a whiskey distillery.

Brewing is pretty concentrated in Ireland, but the pubs are everywhere. We will seek out the smaller breweries, great pubs, and see the classic Guinness everywhere.

Trip size is very limited (just 14!) and many have been planning this trip with us for over a year. So act fast to grab one of the open spots, we want to finalize the roster fast so everyone can get vacation time and air transport arranged. 2010 Ireland Trip

Summer/Fall 2011 – Wine & Beer in the Alsace Region
Here is a land that for centuries has been parts of France & Germany at times. We will see how the two nations have created a confluence of Wine & Beer cultures, traditions, and history. This is more of a tentative trip but if it sounds like one you want, let us know now so we can get the planning started.
